In The Intoxicating Flavor, the plot revolves around a young man who, for reasons unknown, finds himself stranded on an isolated island and must wait hopelessly for a rescue. When new people arrive on the island, everything shifts. Some humorous and mildly juicy events are followed by the onset of darkness and some genuinely bizarre nightmares. At this point, it becomes clear that the island isn't as straightforward as it initially appeared, and the lighthearted account of the main character's interactions with the newly arrived guests gives way to a sad tale about the hidden fears and unknown repercussions that can accompany even the most seemingly harmless decisions.
